Management Class Donates $1,220 to Humane Society"

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---Lady Luck smiled upon animals at the Humane Society of Wicomico County recently as Salisbury University’s Promotions and Management 331 class raised $1,220 for the society with its Texas Hold’em poker tournament.

class=""MsoNormal"">Charged with creating a project through which the class could demonstrate their management ability, event leaders Ken Bowen, Kim Marshall and Kris Todd considered one of the nation’s biggest fads: poker. Some 88 entrants competed at 11 tables for 13 prizes. Winners were:
