Nabb Center Hosts Poplar Hill Mansion Exhibit

SALISBURY, MD---A snapshot of Victorian-era Salisbury can be found at SU's Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture with its exhibit on the Poplar Hill Mansion, circa 1805. The mansion, located at 117 Elizabeth Street in Salisbury, celebrates its bicentennial and the Nabb Center display offers visitors a glimpse of its rich decor and photographic history. The Nabb Research Center was established to provide a "laboratory" for history students and a liaison between Salisbury University and the lower Eastern Shore region. A popular resource for historians and genealogists, it is located on SU's East Campus in the Power Professional Building. The Poplar Hill Mansion Bicentennial exhibit runs through May 31. Admission is free and the public is invited. For more information call 410-543-6312 or visit the Nabb Research Center Website at nabbhistory.salisbury.edu.
