Outgoing Chair of SU Foundation Honored

SALISBURY, MD -- Outgoing chair of the Salisbury University Foundation,Inc., Deborah Abbott (center) recently received a framed watercolor of Holloway Hall from SU President Janet Dudley-Eshbach and incoming SU Foundation Chair Henry Hanna. Abbott, senior vice president and regional officer of Peninsula Bank, served two two-year terms as chair of the SU Foundation's board of directors and remains an active board member, serving on the Nominating and Executive committees. During her tenure, Foundation assets grew from $22 million to over $35 million, SU became a partner in the Perdue-Kresge Challenge (with an $800,000 goal), and the privately funded Scarborough Leadership Center was built.
