Photographer Grace Taylor's "People of the Volcano" exhibit
SALISBURY, MD---"Pueblo del Volcan" (People of the Volcano), a photographic exhibit of southern Mexico, appears Friday, September 27-Friday, October 25, in Salisbury University's Atrium Gallery as part of the fall Latin-American Culture Series. An opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m.
Photographer Grace Taylor's work is included in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the U.S. Department of State and Mexico's Institute of Anthropology and History.
The opening reception also features the strolling mariachi group Los Tres Amigos and a nearby "Latin Dance" performance by the SU Dance Company--replete with traditional costumes.
The mariachis and dancers will also perform during dinner in the Commons building that evening, where a special fare of Latin-American dishes will be served. The cost for the meal is $8.50.
