Political Analyst Larry Sabato Speaks at SU October 11

SALISBURY, MD---“He’s the Mark McGwire of political analysis.” That’s the way The Washington Post characterized Dr. Larry Sabato, founder and director of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics. Fox News Channel has dubbed him “America’s favorite political scientist.” On October 11 at 3 p.m. in Caruthers Hall Auditorium, Sabato, currently working on two books on Election 2004, brings his “crystal ball” to Salisbury University to share his insider’s perspective and to help students and faculty sort out the issues. What makes Larry Sabato such a popular speaker is his ability to bridge the gap between the ivory tower of academe and the real world of politics. Dr. Timothy O’Rourke, dean of the Charles R. and Martha N.
