Reception for 'You're on Indian Land...' Exhibit Wednesday, April 4

Native American SALISBURY, MD---A reception for the Salisbury University exhibit “You’re on Indian Land …” is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, in the first-floor lobby of the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons.
    
Presented by SU’s Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture, the exhibit explores the history and legacy of the indigenous people of the Eastern Shore and their connections to SU.
    
Included are sections on the Wicomico, Pocomoke, Nanticoke, Manokin and Choptank tribes. The exhibit features student research, civic engagement projects and materials from the Nabb Center’s special collections and University archives.
    
During the reception, SU students share the research behind the exhibit. Light refreshments will be served.
    
Sponsored by SU Libraries and the Fulton Public Humanities Committee, admission is free and the public is invited.
