Resource Center Celebrates Week of the Young Child

SALISBURY, MD---The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center at Salisbury University distributes child ID and records kits to celebrate the Week of the Young Child from Sunday-Saturday, April 18-24. The center also participates in the Early Childhood Fair on Saturday, April 24, at the Centre at Salisbury, presenting children’s entertainer Jim Hossick at noon and 2 p.m. on the Boscov’s Stage. The fair is sponsored by the Eastern Shore chapter of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Wicomico County Birth to Four. The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored by the NAEYC to focus attention on the needs of young children and their families, and to recognize early childhood programs.
