SALISBURY, MD---The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center at Salisbury University is supporting local troops through Operation Child Care, a service to support the National Guard and reserve soldiers of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom home on leave. Operation Child Care is part of a program started by the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies so that soldiers can have time to be with their spouses or to take care of personal business during their time off from duty. National partners include the National 4-H Program, National Child Care Association, National Association of Family Child Care, Child Care Bureau and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The center also offers free referrals for parents in need of full or part-time childcare. For more information on Operation Child Care or childcare referrals, call the center at 410-548-3279.
