Respiratory Therapy Department Earns CoARC Honor

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University's Respiratory Therapy Program recently earned one of the highest honors given by the national Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).

During a recent review of the latest national board exam pass rates (from 2003-2005), SU's program met or exceeded all CoARC accreditation requirements, and earned 10 year re-accreditation.

All accredited programs must undergo an annual review, but are reviewed more intensively by periodically CoARC. This intensive review includes a program self-study as well as a site visit from representatives of CoARC.
