Ribbon-Cutting Officially Opens SU Art Galleries -- Downtown Campus

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrated the opening of its downtown gallery with an official ribbon-cutting during Third Friday festivities on September 20. Some 100 people attended ceremonies that included SU President Janet Dudley-Eshbach, Salisbury Mayor Jim Ireton, Dean of the Fulton School of Liberal Arts Maarten Pereboom and dignitaries from the University and community, including Arts & Entertainment District organizers, Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council members and others. At a reception afterward, attendees received eco-friendly tote bags from the Fulton School and enjoyed music by harpist Kara Dahl Russell. On display were “The Water Business” by Marc Castelli; and “This Land,” a group exhibition.
