Road Work Expected to Start Near Campus November 11
SALISBURY, MD---According to information provided by Wicomico County, extensive road work in the area may affect members of the Salisbury University community as they commute to and from campus.
On Thursday, November 11, the county will begin milling and paving operations on sections of Beaglin Park Drive and South Schumaker Drive. Motorists should expect single-lane traffic patterns during the construction period.
The project is composed of four sections. From Thursday-Tuesday, November 11-16, work is expected on Beaglin Park Drive from Route 350/Mt. Hermon Road to Glen Avenue. From Tuesday-Thursday, November 16-18, work is expected on Beaglin Park Drive from South Schumaker Drive to the south end of the Parkside High School property. On Thursday-Friday, November 18-19, work is expected on South Schumaker Drive from Regency Drive to Beaglin Park Drive. Finally, from Monday-Wednesday, November 22-24, work is expected on Beaglin Park Drive from the south end of Glen Avenue to approximately 600 feet south of Hannibal Street.
