SBDC, DBED Present 'Funding Entrepreneurship' Seminar
SALISBURY, MD---The Small Business Development Center at Salisbury University and the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED) present the seminar “Funding Entrepreneurship: Finding the Money to Grow Your Venture” 8:30 a.m.-noon Tuesday, March 21, at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, MD.
DBED Secretary Aris Melissaratos keynotes the seminar with “Climate and Need for Entrepreneurs on the Eastern Shore.” Others in attendance include Deputy Secretary Chris Foster, representatives from entrepreneurship centers, and funding and technical assistance providers, who provide information on how to obtain money for a business venture or expansion, and resources for assistance.
The event brings together entrepreneurs who want to start a business or expand an existing business with service providers who offer guidance, technical assistance and funding. Participants from all nine counties of Maryland’s Eastern Shore are invited.
