SBDC Opens Cambridge Office

SALISBURY, MD---The Maryland Small Business Development Network Eastern Region, headquartered at Salisbury State University, has opened a new satellite office in Cambridge, MD, to better serve the needs of Dorchester County businesses.

The office is located in the Dorchester Chamber of Commerce Building at 528 Poplar Street. Office hours are Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Business Consultant Marie Beckey can be reached at 410-228- 3715 or e-mail mmbeckey@ssu.ed. Beckey, a small business owner, has a background in marketing and communications. She holds degrees in communication arts as well as an M.B.A. from SSU.

The Small Business Development Center provides confidential business consulting services at no cost to potential and existing small business owners. Training programs are also provided along with assistance in developing business plans, finding sources of capital and running a profitable business.

The Eastern Region also has satellite offices located at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills and at Cecil Community College in Elkton.
