SU Art Galleries Presents New Works by Kristin Walsh February 20-March 21

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University Art Galleries presents an exhibit of new works by Kristin Walsh February 20-March 21 at its Downtown Gallery.

A reception is 5-7 p.m. February 20 during the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District’s monthly 3rd Friday celebration.

Walsh’s work investigates the ways in which changing uses and representations of the environment refuse any clean distinction between “natural” and “manmade.” She uses installation, photographic prints and sculpture to construct a series of object-landscape scenographies to make visible how and why and object creates a spatial void in a landscape.

Gallery hours are noon-6 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, noon-4 p.m. Saturdays. Sponsored by SU Art Galleries, admission is free and the public is invited.
