SU Department of Music Presents 'Art Songs Plus!' Mar. 1-2

SALISBURY, MD---Award-winning vocalists from Salisbury University’s Department of Music celebrate National Foreign Language Week during “Art Songs Plus!” 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

A second performance, also featuring songs in multiple languages, is 6 p.m. Friday, March 2, at the Church of Holy Trinity in Oxford, MD.

Directed by SU music faculty John Wesley Wright, the event is part of SU’s celebration of National Foreign Language Week. Students performing will participate in this year’s state and regional National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competitions.

Sponsored by the departments of Music and Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies, a donation of $5-$15 is suggested to help defray travel expenses to the NATS competitions. The public is invited.
