SU Environmental Studies Department Co-Hosts Second Wicomico Paddle Partnership River Cleanup October 24

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Environmental Studies Department is teaming up with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and Salisbury and Wicomico County public works departments to clean up the Wicomico River.

Participants in the second annual Wicomico Paddle Partnership River Cleanup will paddle the river via canoe and kayak from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, October 24, cleaning the waterway as they go. Watercraft will launch from the Riverside Boat Ramp at 538 Riverside Drive in Salisbury. The cleanup concludes with a networking event at Brew River Restaurant beginning at 4 p.m.
