SU Environmental Studies Interns Share Experiences Wednesday, September 9

Enviromental StudiesSALISBURY, MD---From working with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to conducting deer surveys for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, students in Salisbury University’s Environmental Studies Department spent their summers interning in the outdoors.

Four of the programs 13 summer interns discuss their experiences 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, in Henson Science Hall Room 243. Presentations include:

  • Breck Sullivan – Environmental Protection Agency Chesapeake Bay Program mathematical modeling of water systems in Annapolis
  • John Badger – Vision Forestry forest management practices in Salisbury
  • Jayne Clark – Arlington Echo Camp sustainability education in Millersville, MD
  • Brennan Tarleton – Maryland Department of Natural Resources deer surveys at Patuxent River Naval Air Base
