SU Events Honor Veterans, Current Service Members Thursday, November 11

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University hosts a Veteran’s Day ceremony honoring veterans and current members of the military 2 p.m. Thursday, November 11, on the steps of Holloway Hall.

Participants include President Janet Dudley-Eshbach, the SU ROTC color guard and the president of the Student Military and Veterans Association. The campus community is invited.

Preceding the ceremony, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., the Student Military and Veterans Association distributes yellow ribbons in Red Square to honor deployed service members whose family and loved ones attend or work for SU. The association also accepts monetary donations for care packages that will be sent in December. A representation of those packages will be on display.
