SU Grad Students Host 'Learn by Doing' Seminar May 10
Salisbury, MD---Are you a coach or parent who works closely with athletes? A fitness buff who wants practical tips on injury prevention and performance enhancement?
On Saturday, May 10, Salisbury University graduate students present a day-long “Learn by Doing” seminar in Maggs Gym. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
The seminar is designed to provide useful knowledge for parents, coaches and athletes on topics including nutrition and training to prevent injury. Other presentations explore dynamic warm-ups, strength training for youth, exercise techniques, the dangers of performance enhancement drugs, and more. All 14 presenters are currently earning a master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning at SU.
