SU Hosts St. Patrick's Day Dinner March 23

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a dinner in the Bistro of the Commons 4:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, March 23, as part of its spring International Dinner Series.
The dinner features a performance by the Folk Heroes, with local musicians Robin Cockey, Mickey Justice, and Drs. Charles Stegman and Mike O’Loughlin. Their style has been described as ranging “from Irish rebel music … to fiddle tunes and traditional American folk songs.”
Menu items include corned beef with cabbage, carrots and potatoes, Irish Mist chicken, Irish seafood stew, boxty (Irish potato cakes), Celtic cauliflower, seasoned peas, Irish soda bread, shamrock cookies and cupcakes, Irish potato candy, Irish mint brownie bars and St. Patrick’s Day punch.
University Dining Services and the Office of Cultural Affairs sponsor the dinner. Cost is $12, $7.28 for children 5 and under. Reservations are not required. The public is invited. For more information call 410-543-6271 or visit the SU website at www.salisbury.edu.
