SU Named 'eCampus News' eCampus of the Month

SALISBURY, MD---From wireless services to data search programming, Salisbury University stands above its peers when it comes to technology.

One month after being named a “Models of Efficiency” IT award winner by the national trade publication University Business, another trade magazine, eCampus News, named SU its eCampus of the Month. The honor is presented to colleges and universities with outstanding information technology services.

In its article, the publication noted the University’s 10,000 wired Internet ports and wireless network with some 700 access points. Other highlights included the use of the Blackboard Mobile Learn program to allow students to continue their education on mobile devices, distance learning classrooms and PeopleSoft management software add-ons that were created in-house to add search functionality to student records.
