SU Nursing NCLEX Pass Rates Again Top USM Campuses
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University nursing students again have achieved the highest pass rates of all University System of Maryland (USM) campuses on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX).
SU’s first-time pass rates were over 91 percent for 2016-17, based on recent data from the Maryland Board of Nursing. SU also has the highest 10-year average pass rate of all USM institutions.
"We are very proud of our students for their continued success on this licensure examination,” said Dr. Jeffrey Willey, Nursing Department chair. “Outcomes like this are a testament to the academic rigor of the University’s nursing programs and the high-quality faculty who instruct and mentor students.”
