SALISBURY, MD---Due to inclement weather, Salisbury University is closed Monday, March 17. Essential personnel shall report as required.

SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm warning for Wicomico and surrounding counties from 8 p.m. Sunday, March 16, to 5 p.m. Monday, March 17.

A wintry mix, with rain, sleet and snow, is expected Sunday evening, becoming all snow after midnight and into Monday morning. Additional light snowfall is possible Monday afternoon. Three to six inches of accumulation is predicted. Moderate to strong winds between 15 and 25 mph, gusting up to 35 mph, also are forecasted Monday into Monday night.

The NWS is warning that roads may be treacherous Sunday evening into Monday morning.
