SU Pi Gamma Mu Chapter Earns National Award

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Maryland Gamma Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu, the international honor society of the social sciences, recently received the prestigious Roll of Distinction Award.
The honor, announced during Pi Gamma Mu’s 2014 Triennial Meeting in Charleston, SC, is the highest award presented to chapters for service to their campuses and communities.
Chapter advisors for the 2012-13 academic year were Drs. Ray Thompson and Clara Small of SU’s History Department. Recently retired, Small continues to serve as the second vice president for the international organization. Maryland Gamma recently celebrated its 31st anniversary.
