SU Student Gives Big 'Booyah' on CNBC's 'Mad Money'
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University received a shout-out—literally—on the December 2 episode of CNBC’s Mad Money with Jim Cramer.
John Stockel of Woodstock, MD, a management major in SU’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, spoke on the air with Cramer during the show’s “Lightning Round” segment, opening the conversation with “Big ‘booyah’ from Salisbury University!”
Cramer didn’t hesitate, responding, “Hey, yeah, you’re right from where Erin’s from,” referencing fellow CNBC host Erin Burnett, a native of nearby Mardela Springs, MD.
Stockel asked Cramer his opinion on purchasing stock in Maryland-based clothing manufacturer Under Armour, a move Cramer approved.
