SU's MASMI Hosts Second Biannual Sales Championship Friday, May 4

MASMI LOGOSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University sales students vie for a top prize of $1,000 during the second biannual Mid-Atlantic Sales and Marketing Institute (MASMI) Sales Championship on Friday, May 4.

Students from the Management and Marketing Department’s Professional Selling course in the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business compete for the award beginning at 9 a.m. on the second floor of Perdue Hall.

Sixteen semifinalists move on to a second round at 12:30 p.m. (A student elevator pitch competition runs concurrently.) Four finalists vie for the championship title beginning at 2 p.m. in Perdue Hall’s Bennett Family Auditorium.

Community business leaders serve as judges and “buyers” in all three rounds. Winners are announced at 3:15 p.m. in Perdue Hall’s Bennett Family Auditorium.

The competition is sponsored by Choptank Transport; Perdue Farms; Shore Bancshares; Tom James; Northwestern Mutual; Enterprise Rent-A-Car; APPI Energy; Risk Placement Services, Inc.; Pohanka of Salisbury; Gartner; New Day USA; Wedding Wire; and Sports Office 365.
