Salisbury Youth Orchestra Performs May 20

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Youth Orchestra hosts its annual spring concert 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 20, in Holloway Hall Auditorium at Salisbury University.
The orchestra performs arrangements of pieces by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Dukas, Mozart, Von Suppe and Jared Spears.
The orchestra is conducted Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen, assistant professor of music at SU. It is a full orchestra with strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion, and its members range from fourth-graders to high school seniors from Salisbury and lower Delaware.
