Sea Gull Stadium Grandstand Construction Begins

SALISBURY, MD---Construction of Salisbury University’s new $19 million Sea Gull Stadium continued this week with the erection of the facility’s grandstand. The stadium will have bleacher seating for nearly 5,000, some 2,800 on the home team side.

At over 30,000 square feet, the new stadium building will be a considerable upgrade over the 1980 one-story cinderblock structure it replaces. Scheduled to open in 2016, it will serve SU’s football, field hockey and lacrosse programs.
