Senior Games Registration Through April 2

SALISBURY, MD--Seniors 50 years and older from Maryland, Delaware and Virginia’s Eastern Shore are invited to register for the 2001 Eastern Shore Senior Games at Salisbury State University Friday-Sunday, April 26-28. 

To register, seniors must return applications with $20 and a copy of a driver’s license or Motor Vehicle Administration ID. All entries must be postmarked no later than April 2. Entries received after the deadline cost $50 on a space available basis. 

Seniors may choose from some 19 events including archery, bowling, cycling, golf, softball, swimming, tennis and volleyball. Participants compete for gold, silver and bronze medals. 

The games are sanctioned by the Maryland Senior Olympics Commission Inc. and sponsored by SSU’s Physical Education Department, personnel from area recreation agencies and senior citizens in the community.
