class=""MsoNormal"">Sponsored by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), an outreach program of Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University and Chesapeake College, the next session is Wednesday, December 7, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in Room AUD-01 at Chesapeake College.
class=""MsoNormal"">A business counselor discusses the importance and basics of writing a business plan. A business plan template is provided. An insurance specialist helps determine which types of insurance are needed. An attorney provides information on forming a corporation, and the legal reasons to use different types of business structures. A marketing expert shares marketing plan ideas, as well as examples of proven marketing techniques. A banker covers how to obtain financing from any financial institution and developing a positive relationship with a bank. An accountant discusses different types of bookkeeping methods and accurate record keeping.
