TETC Construction Noise Advisory Issued

SALISBURY, MD---Residents in areas surrounding Salisbury University are advised of construction scheduled at SU’s Teacher Education and Technology Center through Friday, October 24.

During this time, contractors will use a Hilti gun, which operates using a small explosive charge similar to that of a firearm, to install information technology infrastructure. From 6-7:30 a.m. on weekdays during the construction, this device may create gunshot-like noises.

SU Police have advised that this is normal for this type of tool, and its use does not represent any threat to the campus or surrounding neighborhood.
