Tabor Discusses 'Jazz as Fusion' Wednesday, November 30

SALISBURY, MD---Dr. Jerry Tabor, professor of music in Salisbury University’s Department of Music, speaks on “Jazz as Fusion” 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
His talk is part of SU’s Distinguished Faculty Lecture Series. This semester’s theme is “Fusion.”
With the help of SU’s Jazz Brazz Big Band, which he directs, Tabor discusses and demonstrates how fusion relates to historical contexts and musical traits of jazz.
