SALISBURY, MD---The Peter and Judy Jackson Chamber Music Series at Salisbury University continues Sunday, April 7, with harpist Melissa Tardiff-Dvorak and flutist Julianna Nickel.
Their performance is 7 p.m. in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
An active soloist and chamber music musician, Salisbury native Tardiff-Dvorak performed at the 55th presidential inauguration, the world premiere of the film Gods and Generals and in private concert for the ambassador of Spain. She also has appeared with touring bands for singers Anne Murray and Connie Francis, and performed at the U.S. Supreme Court, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and U.S. Naval Academy. She holds a Master of Music in harp performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music.
Nickel teaches at the George Mason University School of Music and performs throughout the Washington, D.C., area. She has played with the National Symphony Orchestra and Washington National Opera. She also performed at the Kennedy Center with the famed Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra of St. Petersburg, Russia, during its North American tour.
