The Big Event Comes to Salisbury University April 9

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University students join to help the community during The Big Event at Salisbury 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 9. Founded in Texas, The Big Event is a day-long community service project during which students aid University neighbors by fulfilling requests for household chores such as raking, cleaning and painting. Dedication ceremonies inaugurate the event 9 a.m. in Red Square on the SU campus. Projects take place on Pinehurst Avenue, West College Avenue, Loblolly Lane, Lake Street and the Fruitland Community Center. SU’s Student Government Association hosts The Big Event.
