The Big Event Comes to Salisbury University April 9

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University students join to help the community during The Big Event at Salisbury 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 9.

class=""MsoNormal"">Founded in Texas, The Big Event is a day-long community service project during which students aid University neighbors by fulfilling requests for household chores such as raking, cleaning and painting.

class=""MsoNormal"">Dedication ceremonies inaugurate the event 9 a.m. in Red Square on the SU campus. Projects take place on Pinehurst Avenue, West College Avenue, Loblolly Lane, Lake Street and the Fruitland Community Center.
