SU Workday Project

The Maryland Connect project will replace Salisbury University’s current Human Resources and Finance system (PeopleSoft), with Workday, a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system specialized for higher education. This transformation is a collaborative effort with four other University System of Maryland institutions – Bowie State University, Coppin State University, Frostburg State University and the University of Baltimore.

Workday will help SU employees streamline administrative processes and resolve the many pain points with today’s HR, Accounts Payable and others systems. Our transition to Workday is also driven by impending obsolescence of Peoplesoft which will not be supported after 2030. Our student information system (Gullnet) will also be replaced in the coming years.

Training, including step by step guide documents, computer-based training courses, and instructor led trainings, are expected to be available in May 2024. In the coming months, the SU community will continue to receive communications about the Maryland Connect program and Workday features via email and the Workday MS Teams Group.
