This site provides children opportunities to hear books read aloud from people such as Wanda Sykes to Justin Bieber. Reading aloud to children has been shown to improve reading, writing and communication skills, logical thinking and concentration, and general academic aptitude, as well as inspire a lifelong love of reading.

Storyline is available 24 hours a day for children, parents, caregivers and educators worldwide. Each book includes supplemental curriculum developed by a credentialed elementary educator, aiming to strengthen comprehension and verbal and written skills for English-language learners.

This site provides teacher and parents support for writing, reading, grammar, vocabulary, math, and at home learning. From the sites podcasts to YouTube channel, the Not so Wimpy Teacher provides teachers and parents resources and information to support distance learning.

Really Great Reading believes that every student has the right to appropriate, high-quality, foundational skills reading instruction. Really Great Reading is focused on preventing and remediating decoding weaknesses in students in all grades. This site provides educators and parents the tools and knowledge to teach all students (not just those who learn easily) to read. The Really Great Teacher also provides creative digital activities such as the Letter Tile Free Play, parent resources, instructional videos for parents and teachers, and on demand webinars to support teachers and parents during this COVID-19 Pandemic.

Wide Open School helps make learning from home an experience that inspires kids, supports teachers, relieves families, and restores community. This site was built in a matter of days on a shared vision. A group of more than 25 organizations such as, National Geographic, Scholastic, and Time for Kids, came together and raised their hands to help, and many more are joining daily.

Unite for Literacy seeks to ensure that all children have access to an abundance of books that celebrate their cultures and languages. Unite Books bring joyful reading of books to children at UniteBooks.com, a digital library for preschool and primary learners that’s free and easy to use for teachers and families alike. Unite Books can be narrated in as many as 46 different languages!

Colorín Colorado is a national multimedia project that offers a wealth of bilingual, research-based information, activities, and advice for educators and families of English language learners (ELLs).

Inspiring the next generation to develop a love of reading and learning.

Epic was born out of a single question: How do we make books more accessible to kids? As parents, it always seemed strange to us that our kids could so easily play games and watch videos on their iPhones and iPads, but the same couldn’t be said for books. So in 2013, we decided to build the first “epic” reading experience, designed just for kids. Today, Epic has grown into an award-winning subscription service, which gives millions of families and classrooms instant, unlimited access to thousands of books, videos and quizzes from leading publishers to help kids everywhere read, learn and grow.
