Our Mission
Liberal education remains the hallmark of undergraduate higher education in the United States, widely regarded as the best in the world. The Fulton School plays a vital role in the academic experience of every Salisbury University student, and its courses and programs aim to fulfill the University's mission by:
- Empowering students with knowledge and skills vital to lifelong professional success and personal growth;
- Maintaining a student-centered academic environment through modest class sizes and conscientious mentoring;
- Emphasizing in each program the importance of effective research, analysis and communications skills vital to success both within the discipline and in a knowledge-based economy's work force; and
- Fostering understanding and appreciation of the diversity of the world's cultures and traditions, also as reflected in our own society, through our community, curriculum, cultural programming and international education.
