Wordstock

Each year, the English Department invites school and community artists to join in a celebration of the written word.  Students, faculty, and community members join in an afternoon of sharing their own work, of reading the works of artists they admire, and of performing in other artistic disciplines.

Wordstock 2023 will be held on Wednesday, May 10 from 10:00 am to 4 pm in front of Fulton Hall.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the words that inspire us and all the art that sustains us.  Come listen to local artists perform their work, share your own work in any of the free readings, or read aloud some of the writing of others that has inspired you over the years.
