Calling all movers! Join us for a semester full of artistry, expression, and DANCE!
The Salisbury University Dance Company, under the direction of Sammy Reyes, invites all students to audition for the Fall Company Showcase which will feature works choreographed by the Company. Be part of our moving community!
Monday, August 31, 2026. Yes, that’s the first day of fall classes!
AUDITIONS ARE OPEN TO ALL—YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A DANCE MINOR.
(But we’d love to have you as a dance minor!)
We always seek casts embodying our program’s commitment to diversity of identity, artistry, and ideas. The SUDC’s values include casting that embraces diversity in race, culture, gender identity, sexuality, physical abilities, neurodivergence, socio-economic background, and age.
Audition Information
Audition Date: Monday, August 31, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Audition Location: Maggs Center Dance Studio (MC 168)
Audition Requirements:
- Click the button below to fill out the audition form prior to auditions.
- Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing to auditions.
- You can be either barefoot or wear clean, light-soled dance sneakers or tennis shoes.
- Come prepared to MOVE!

Fall Showcase Schedule
Company Class:
- Mondays, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
If you are selected, you will be registered for DANC 106 Dance Company (one credit) that meets on Mondays from 4:30-6:30 in the Maggs Dance Studio (MC 168). No conflicts with other classes are permitted. This will be done automatically unless it causes the student to be enrolled in greater than 19 credits this semester. If that is the case, inform the Company Director immediately upon casting so appropriate steps may be taken.
Rehearsals:
- Rehearsals are determined by each choreographer.
- Each piece will have at least one 2 to 4 hour long rehearsal per week.
- Rehearsals are typically Mondays - Fridays between 4-11 p.m. and on Saturdays and/or Sundays any time based upon availability.
- Please list any known conflicts on your audition form.
Technical/Dress Rehearsals, Performances, and Strike:
ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED AT ALL TECH AND DRESS REHEARSALS AND STRIKE IN ADDITION TO PERFORMANCES.

- Performances
- Thursday-Saturday, November 5-7, 7:30 p.m. (cast called earlier)
- Sunday, November 8, 2 p.m. (cast called earlier)
- Strike
- Sunday, November 8 immediately following performance
