Call for FLC Proposals for 2024-2025

The Provost's Office is currently calling for proposals for the 2024-2025 Faculty Learning Communities. Proposals can be for cohort-based or topic-based FLCs. Faculty interested in facilitating a FLC should read the 5 Things to Know before submitting a proposal.

Important note regarding budgets for meals: State regulations do not permit reimbursement of food/beverage expenses on a normal workday at any time (even after normal business hours). Meals for meetings can be covered with the use of special SU Foundation funds but cannot exceed per diem rates. However, if FLC participants meet on a Saturday or Sunday, meal expenses will be reimbursed. Review the per diem meal rates for State meal allowances.

To help prospective FLC facilitators(s) prepare their proposal, please review and use the following documents:

• FLC Part D Budget Spreadsheet: Download, complete and upload as part of the proposal. A useful resource when developing your budget is the Accessing FLC funds guidelines.
• FLC Proposal Scoring Rubric: Used during the proposal review process.

Complete the online 2024 Faculty Learning Community FLC proposal form by May 24, 2024.
