Office of General Counsel

The Office of General Counsel (OGC) provides legal services to Salisbury University (University), including all of its schools, colleges and administrative departments. As counsel, the OGC is here to help the University advance its vision and find solutions to problems by providing timely, practical, and knowledgeable guidance and to provide support to the University’s faculty, staff, and students. The OGC utilizes a team approach, in which collaboration with departments and individuals is used to proactively minimize risk, reduce and/or prevent litigation, and identify and respond to legal issues affecting the University.

As the University’s in-house counsel, the OGC is responsible for addressing a wide range of issues that affect the University. These include:
