Multimedia Journalism Minor

As the term “fake news” becomes a part of our everyday life, the need for media literacy training is on the rise. When you pursue a minor in multimedia journalism, you’ll understand the real work that journalists do and explore the platforms through which news is shared – on the page, on the internet and on your television.

Why Choose a Multimedia Journalism Minor at Salisbury University?

Our Communication Department is nationally recognized by The Princeton Review as among the nation’s best. As a student in one of our minors, you have access to a cutting-edge integrated media center, with high-definition studios for on-campus news productions.

What can you do with a degree in multimedia journalism? The multimedia journalism minor appeals to students from a variety of disciplines who recognize the value of the unique skills gained from journalism training and are excited to incorporate those skills into their chosen career. You can benefit from this training now by working on The Flyer student newspaper or SU-TV, our student-run television station.
