Research Interests
The overall goal of my research is to create a taxonomic guide to the Scarabaeoidea of Maryland. This research involves conducting the first biodiversity inventory of Maryland scarab beetles, creating taxonomic keys to the tribes, families, and genera occurring in Maryland and writing species descriptions for each species. Notes on the biology will be provided as well as distribution maps and original scientific illustrations.
