SALISBURY, MD---Children’s author and illustrator Frane Lessac, and author Mark Greenwood discuss their careers and read from their works 4:30 p.m. Monday, October 1, at the Dr. Ernie Bond Curriculum Resource Center in Salisbury University’s Conway Hall.
A native of Palisades, NJ, Lessac has published over 40 books for children, many based on her worldwide travels. Others include the History Mysteries series and, with Lessac, Midnight and The Mayflower. His works The Legend of Moondyne Joe and The Legend of Lasseter’s Reef have won the West Australia Premier’s Award for children’s books.
