Students Showcase Summer Research

SALISBURY, MD---The effects of human impact on travel patterns of elephants in Africa. What brainwave data can help determine about memory in older adults. The effectiveness of “quantum dots” in increasing solar panel efficiency.

These are just some of the research projects and creative activities conducted by Salisbury University students this summer.

Student researchers from across campus present posters and discuss their scholarship during an interactive Summer Student Research Showcase 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, August 29, in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall. A selection of project highlights also is available on the SU Summer Research website.

Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (OURCA), admission is free and the public is invited. Light refreshments will be served.
