SU Olympian Luke Campbell Returns for Speaking Engagement
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Olympian, Luke Campbell ’16, is returning to campus for a question-and-answer session 8 p.m. Monday, October 4, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
Campbell won 11 national championships with the SU men’s indoor and outdoor track and field teams during his four-year career. He also earned All-American honors 16 times and broke seven school records, primarily in hurdle events, becoming the most-awarded student-athlete in NCAA Division III history.
Upon graduating, he competed professionally for Germany, where he holds dual citizenship.
Campbell qualified for the Tokyo Olympics last August, competing in the 400-meter hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay. In the hurdles, he placed 11th.
Sponsored by the SU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Student-Athlete Mentors, admission is free and the public is invited.
All attendees at Salisbury University indoor events are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Attendees may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.
All attendees must complete an online COVID-19 screening on the day of their visit, prior to coming to the SU campus.
