SHRM Recognizes SU Chapter for Service to Students
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter has earned a 2021-22 SHRM Superior Merit Award.
The national honor recognized the chapter for its programming, professional development of members and support of the human resource profession.
In the past year, under the leadership of Chapter President Kathleen Filberg ’22 (management) and Vice President Courtney Schrader (management), the SU organization has hosted multiple seminars and workshops with local human resource professionals.
The chapter also held several member recruitment initiatives, and connected its members with career opportunities and scholarship information.
