Boudewyns Joins SSO for Family Concert March 10
SALISBURY, MD---Entertainers Michael Boudewyns and Henry Richmond-Boudewyns join the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra at Salisbury University (SSO) for a family concert 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 10, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
Michael Boudewyns, co-founder of the performance group Really Inventive Stuff, has performed with orchestras internationally for nearly 20 years. His shows are created with a core commitment to imaginative, playful and entertaining storytelling.
The SSO performs Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, along with The Toy Symphony, the latter of which features fanciful, non-traditional instruments such as birdcalls and the representation of a toy trumpet. The concert, along with Boudewyns’ performance, is geared toward people of all ages and musical comprehensions.
Tickets are $25, $20 for seniors, $10 for faculty and staff, and $5 for students, available from SU’s online box office. The concert also can be streamed online for $10.
Patrons are asked to park in Camden Lot F (Blackwell Hall).
