Salisbury and University Chorales Spring Concert May 6
SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury and University Chorales perform their annual spring concert, celebrating “The Gospel and Spiritual Style,” 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
Directed by Dr. William Folger, SU director of choral studies, selections include Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy and I Hear America Singing by André J. Thomas; and The Chariot Jubilee by R. Nathaniel Dett. Accompanied by a 43-piece orchestra, the Chorales’ performance features soloists Callie Day and Dr. John Wesley Wright.
Tickets are $10, $5 for seniors. Admission is free for students and SU faculty and staff. Tickets are available through SU’s online box office at www.salisbury.edu/performingarts.
Patrons are asked to park in Camden Lot F (Blackwell Hall).
The concert is part of SU’s Presidential Inauguration Week events, celebrating the installation of Dr. Carolyn Ringer Lepre as SU’s 10th President.
